Thanks to the latest "Single Pass" print engine technology, the GENICOM
Intelliprint cL160 can deliver sophisticated professional office documents with
pictures and graphics at a fraction of the time taken by previous color laser
printers. Instead of the paper making four passes through the machine, each time
picking up a different primary color, the GENICOM Intelliprint cL160 does it in
one pass and quality is not sacrificed. With GENICOM's latest Intelliprint IV
controller running at 450 MHz, the cL160 quickly formulates razor sharp 1200 X
1200 dpi color images from a palette of over 16 million colors. So quick in fact
that the first page to print is produced in less than fifteen seconds. This is
around half the time of similar machines on the market.The cL160 handles a wide
variety of print media, from letter to legal with paper weights between 16 and
80 lb as well as transparencies. If the 500 sheet input tray is not enough, a
high capacity feeder can be added featuring two 500 sheet trays. And double
sided documents are no problem with the GENICOM Intelliprint cL160 as duplex
printing comes as standard.
